Draped bust of Vulcan to right, wearing laureate pileus; to left, star (mark of value) above tongs; below chin, H•; all within wreath. Rev. Eagle standing front on thunderbolt, wings spread and head turned to left. Babelon (Aurelia) 21. Crawford 314/1b. RBW 1164 var. (differing control mark). Sydenham 577. Nicely toned and with an attractive rendering of Vulcan. Some pitting, otherwise, very fine.
